Well worth taking a detour from the main road. A wonderful asset to an already charming village. Easy parking and access. Full review by Gill C

Absolutely lovely little village with a green and nice pub. Then hidden away in the corner are these magnificent waterfalls. There are benches to sit by the river and have a spot of picnic lunch but … Full review by Holidayman204

This place is stunning and off the beat-on track, stunning views and nice to sit and relax, but too many dogs running around off leads after been in the water…… it spoils the tranquility of the place Full review by Skye17skye

Sounds very appealing. On the basis of equality, I contend that a hand fasting ceremony has similarities with marriage or other civil ceremony. This being so, permission should be sought - one would definitely need permission or a licence to have a wedding in a public park, for instance. The local council should be the first port of call - the wording of the application will be important because you may encounter misconception or suspicion. The planned date and timing of the event together with the number of people likely to attend will be very relevant. A small scale, brief, low key event that will not intrude on anyone else's access or enjoyment is more likely to be approved than a coach party (!) but there are other potential concerns such as health and safety, impact on parking, noise and it will be crucial to stress that there will be no music, litter or alcohol. It may be prudent to consult the Pagan Federation (easily found on any search engine) for help or advice. This may all seem OTT but at stake is your big day, which could be ruined should someone with authority arrive during proceedings.
