Robin Kaye, a longtime music supervisor for “American Idol,” and her husband Thomas Deluca, both 70, were found dead on Monday, July 14, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department. Police were called after the couple had not been heard from in a few days, and a wellness check was requested.
An "American Idol" executive and her husband were shot and killed in their Encino home, a show spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday, while police search for a suspect. Robin Kaye, who worked as a music supervisor on the long-running singing competition show, started working on the now-ABC-produced series more than a decade ago.
Once inside the home, they found the bodies of Robin Kaye, 70, and Thomas Deluca, 70, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. A suspect, Raymond Boodarian, 22, was later identified and arrested at 3 p.m. Tuesday at his home without incident.
