AAP leaders expressed solidarity with Bangladeshi Hindu leader Chinmoy Krishna Das, arrested in Bangladesh on sedition charges. They urged the Indian government to engage diplomatically to ensure the safety of ISKCON devotees.

Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari, the general secretary of ISKCON Bangladesh, said the monk had been removed from all positions of the organisation.

Days after Chinmoy Krishna Das was sent to jail in Bangladesh on charges of sedition, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has denied any involvement in the activities of the monk,
