It was often unclear what Johnny would do when Cobra Kai ended, but the show has subtly provided an answer for his Karate Kid: Legends-era role.

Legends, but the familiar senseis remain—Jackie Chan's Mr. Han, Ralph Macchio's Daniel LaRusso, and—yes, you guessed it right—a new lead, Ben Wang.

In the final scene, Daniel attempts to catch a fly with chopsticks like Mr. Miyagi challenged him to do in The Karate Kid. Johnny comes and squishes the fly with his hands while they are out for lunch, once again illustrating that their friendship is based on differences.

After six seasons, Cobra Kai has come to an end, as Netflix released the final five episodes of the beloved Karate Kid series on Thursday morning. The show wrapped up the story of Johnny and Daniel’s rivalry-turned-friendship and saw their karate students finish up the biggest tournament in the world before heading off to college.
