Dale Earnhardt Jr. will add a new job title to his resume: crew chief. The Nascar Hall of Famer will work with Xfinity Series rookie Connor Zilisch at Pocono.

Earnhardt Jr. will serve as the crew chief for Connor Zilisch in the Xfinity Series race at Pocono on Saturday. Zilisch’s crew chief Mardy Lindley is serving a one-race suspension for loose lug nuts on Zilisch’s car at the end of the race in Nashville earlier this month.

With Zilisch's full-time crew chief, Mardy Lindley, suspended one race because of two unsecured lug nuts following the May 31 race at Nashville, team co-owner and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be making his debut as crew chief of the No. 88 team this weekend, the team confirmed to its X account on Wednesday.
