The Chicago Cubs will host the 2027 MLB All-Star Game at Wrigley Field on July 13, officially announced by Commissioner Rob Manfred. A $30 million security plan shared by the state, city, and team helped secure the bid despite earlier safety concerns.

The MLB All-Star Game is returning to Wrigley Field. On Friday, Major League Baseball announced Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, will host the 2027 All-Star Game. It will be the fourth All-Star Game played at Wrigley and the first since 1990. The Friendly Confines also hosted the 1947 and 1962 Midsummer Classics.

The 2026 contest will take place at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, to mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence. The Phillies' former home, Veterans Stadium, hosted the All-Star Game in 1976 to honor the nation's bicentennial.
