After the game, a skirmish ensued when Michigan players attempted to plant their flag at midfield and were confronted by Ohio State players.

Ohio State (10-2, 7-2 Big Ten) and its high-powered offense struggled all game against the scrappy Wolverines defense. The Buckeyes mustered just 77 rushing yards while quarterback Will Howard finished 19 of 33 for 175 yards and a touchdown, throwing two interceptions that helped flip fields for Michigan.
