A Democratic whistleblower told the FBI that Senator Adam Schiff authorized the leak of classified information related to the Russia collusion investigation in 2017 in an effort to discredit President Trump, newly-released documents show.

Newly declassified FBI interview records have revived allegations that Senator Adam Schiff authorized the leaking of classified information during the height of the Trump–Russia investigation.

On Wednesday, August 13, President Trump took to Truth Social to level serious accusations against Adam Schiff, claiming there is “irrefutable proof” the Democrat approved a plan to leak classified information. He wrote, "Just out, irrefutable proof that Adam Shifty Schiff approved plan to leak classified information to damage Donald Trump."
