IndyCar is at a familiar spot, the downtown streets of Long Beach, California. Kyle Kirkwood takes the race after starting from the pole position.

From pole position to checkered flag, Kyle Kirkwood won the Long Beach Grand Prix. He led for a total of 46 laps on Sunday and never let Alex Palou overtake him. With the win, he moves into second place in the INDYCAR standings.

This was Kirkwood’s third IndyCar victory, all of them coming on street courses; he won in Nashville in 2023. Before heading to the winner’s circle, Kirkwood, who drives for Andretti Global, expressed his delight in a trackside interview.
