Disney’s live action version of “Lilo & Stich” earned a staggering $145.5 million in North American theaters, according to studio estimates Sunday, the second biggest domestic opening of the year after “A Minecraft Movie.”
Disney's family-friendly "Lilo & Stitch" earned an estimated $183 million, a record for the four-day Memorial Day weekend, according to Variety. The film has already taken in an additional $158 million internationally, industry tracker Exhibitor Relations reported.

“Lilo & Stitch” is projected to win the weekend box office with an estimated $183 million through Monday, which would mark the highest Memorial Day weekend opening of all time, overtaking “Top Gun: Maverick” and its $126 million opening in 2022.
