The Washington Commanders hired Mark Clouse as their new team president Tuesday, putting the longtime food executive in charge of all facets of the organization's business operations when he starts in late January.

The Commanders' revamped power structure added yet another key element Tuesday when Washington hired Mark Clouse, who has served as the president and CEO of The Campbell's Company since 2019, as its new team president.

Mark Clouse is leaving after six transformative years; Mick Beekhuizen will become the 15th CEO in Campbell’s 155-year history.
