President Trump took to Truth Social to declare two new national holidays. One is still several months away: a commemoration of the end of World War I slated for Nov. 11 — a day that already happens to be a federal holiday (Veterans Day).

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social earlier this week that he is designating two dates, including May 8 as national holidays to honor the U.S. winning both World Wars. He followed that up with a proclamation declaring May 8 as "Victory Day for World War II.
