Lake Central senior right-hander Joshua Flores was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the fourth round of the 2025 MLB draft on Monday. Flores, a Kentucky recruit who went 7-0 with a 2.76 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 38 innings this past season, was the 125th overall pick.

The Milwaukee Brewers drafted Owens in the 10th round as the 305th overall pick, making him the 44th Roadrunner to be picked in the MLB Draft and the second UTSA student-athlete to be selected in the 2025 MLB Draft.
Dickinson, a junior from Richland, Wash., was a 2025 Second-Team All-SEC selection, and he batted .315 (75-for-238) on the year with 14 doubles, 12 homers, 49 RBI and 67 runs. He finished No. 6 in the SEC in runs scored with 67 and No. 9 in the league in on-base percentage (.458).
