Just a week after his emotional social media rant, WWE announcer Corey Graves made his return to NXT. PWInsider reported his return before the show went on the air. Graves was reportedly “booked late” on January 20, 2025, to return to WWE NXT.

Saquon Shugars returned from injury ahead of the January 21st episode of WWE NXT. Shugars competed in a dark match against Javier Bernal, who also returned from injury. Shugars had been sidelined since March 2024, saying he "broke his knee off."

Corey Graves captured plenty of headlines last week, and it doesn't appear the WWE announcer will be back on television to provide any clarity this week. PWInsider reports the former NXT Superstar alongside Raw and Smackdown announcer is not expected to be on WWE TV this week,

Whatever happened behind-the-scenes after Graves tweeted his displeasure about not being part of Raw’s announce team, after a week off he’s now back in both his regular roles.
