The show, in which the documentary crew from The Office lands on a new subject, is called The Paper. It follows the publisher (Domhnall Gleeson) and staff of a historic but struggling newspaper in Toledo, Ohio.

This morning, it was revealed at NBCUniversal’s Upfront presentation in New York City that the Greg Daniels and Michael Koman-produced comedy series The Paper will premiere on Peacock in Septemb er. A first-look photo shows Domhnall Gleeson standing on top of a desk talking to the employees, which includes Oscar Nuñez.

The Paper, a new spin-off of The Office set at a small Ohio newspaper, will premiere exclusively on Peacock in September, according to a post from the streaming service's X account. Considering NBCUniversal's streaming service has mostly existed as a dedicated The Office and Parks & Recreation rewatch tool, this is a pretty big get.
