By Marwa Rashad DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) -Saudi oil giant Aramco's Chief Executive Amin Nasser said on Tuesday he sees the oil market as healthy and expects an additional 1.3 million barrels per day of demand this year.

Aramco’s chief executive Amin Nasser said that oil demand in 2025 will approach 106 million barrels per day (bpd) after averaging about 104.6 million bpd last year

“We still see good demand coming out of China,” Aramco’s Chief Executive Officer Amin Nasser said in a Bloomberg Television interview in Davos. The country, along with India, make up about 40% of the global consumption growth and, “demand is increasing year on year.”

Nasser’s expectations for 2025 oil demand are similar to predictions made by Opec’s most recent monthly report, which pegged global oil demand growth forecast for 2025 at 1.4 million bpd. Opec believes that oil demand growth could continue well into 2026 at an almost similar pace.
