Tesla has issued a recall of nearly 380,000 vehicles in the United States following concerns over a power steering assist failure.

Tesla’s latest recall affects more than 376,200 examples of its Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV and results from an issue with the vehicles’ power steering system.

The printed circuit board for the electronic power steering assist may become overstressed, causing a loss of power steering assist when the vehicle reaches a stop and then accelerates again, the agency said.
