Florida, North and South Carolina, Alaska, and Montana have been hit with snow, “dangerously cold” wind chills and freeze alerts.
Up to three inches of snow is possible on Tuesday, with less than an inch expected on Monday. Another weather system could bring more snow to the area Thursday night into Friday. Bitter cold still has a grip on the region Monday morning and there are several chances of snow this week.
