The agreement runs through the 2030-31 season, when the Flyers and 76ers are scheduled to move into a new arena that will be built at the South Philly sports complex.

Say goodbye to the Wells Fargo Center and hello to the Xfinity Mobile Arena in South Philadelphia. The name change will take effect on Sept. 1.

So now, with the deal expiring in August, and the Sixers set to open a new arena entirely in 2031, building owner Comcast Spectacor (who recently re-purchased a minority stake in the Sixers as part of getting the arena deal across the finish line) will take the naming reins.
