The Bruins have had plenty of active deadlines during Sweeney’s tenure. In most of those, Boston was adding players in hopes of making a deep playoff run. Last year, they were sellers. Sweeney traded away a handful of veterans in hopes of starting what he hoped would be a quick rebuild.
