Ed Genesis, a longtime hip-hop artist based in Kalamazoo, will speak on the topic of “Social Justice Through a Hip-Hop Lens."

From hip-hop to soul food to HBCUs, these events celebrate Black culture and excellence in Phoenix, Chandler, Scottsdale and Tempe all month long.

Feb. events include the 30th annual Langston Hughes Community Poetry reading, and a free PPAC program celebrating musician and activist Randall Ashe.
