A crucial vote Tuesday in the House of Representatives could end a partial shutdown of the federal government, which is now in its fourth day.

Republican leaders ‌in Congress are ​nearing a resolution ‍aimed ending a ​partial ​government ⁠shutdown, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday.

The House passed a procedural measure, called a rule vote, by 217-215, which now unlocks a final passage vote on government funding bills that is slated for later Tuesday.
