Yoshinobu Yamamoto didn't have his best stuff on Friday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but the Los Angeles Dodgers starter kept them in the game. The Dodgers lineup needs to clean up their act when Yamamoto is on the hill.

The Dodgers continued their plod through this opening month, dropping their third in a row in a 3-0 loss to Skenes’ Pittsburgh Pirates.

Alex Vesia, Luis García, and even Noah Davis pitched well out of the L.A. pen in relief of Yamamoto for four scoreless innings combined including two shutout innings by Davis. This isn’t exactly a juggernaut Pittsburgh lineup to be fair.
