Roblox is introducing a way to let trusted friends chat more freely among themselves, but it will require that they use a new age estimation tool to verify that they’re over 13.

The popular gaming platform is adding 'Trust Connections' that will lift some of its communication filtering for the age group.

Roblox will require a facial scan or government ID to have unfiltered chats Teens will have to prove they are older than 13 to make ’Trusted Connections’ they can chat more freely with.
