Electric vehicle maker VinFast Auto Ltd. said it plans to begin selling two made-in-India cars in the South Asian country later this year, marking the Vietnamese carmaker’s debut in the world’s third-biggest car market.

Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast has announced its entry into the Indian market, with the debut of two locally assembled models: the VF 6 and VF 7. Their pricing has not been disclosed. The models are part of VinFast's global portfolio on display at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, marking the company's commitment to India.

The VinFast VF7 'Eco' variant has a single electric motor producing 201bhp and 310Nm of torque, while the Plus variant comes with dual motors with a combined output of 349bhp and 500Nm of torque.
