The three-time Academy Award winner, who announced his retirement following 2017’s Phantom Thread, is stepping back into the spotlight in Anemone, an upcoming feature directed by his son, Ronan Day-Lewis.

The project from Focus Features is set to have its world premiere at the The New York Film Festival —which kicks off Sept. 26th and runs through Oct. 13 — and marks the return of the three-time Oscar winner after an eight-year “retirement.”
