LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville women's basketball outlasted a late rally for a 68-65 road win against Virginia. The Cardinals led by 17 points to start the fourth quarter, but Virginia closed its deficit to a single possession with 3:03 left. Neither team scored in the final three minutes as Louisville won 68-65.

Only one more half stands between Louisville and the win they were favored to collect coming into this afternoon. They have a bit of a cushion as they currently lead Virginia 39-28. Louisville entered the matchup having won seven straight and they're just one half away from another.
