Metro police are investigating another road rage shooting that occurred near a Las Vegas freeway, police said.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A second road rage shooting in just two days happened near Jones Boulevard and Alta Drive Tuesday. Metro says the shooting started on Rainbow Boulevard and Summerlin Parkway involving two vehicles. One person saying they were shot at. There are no injuries according to Metro.

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a road rage incident led to shots being fired in a west Las Vegas neighborhood. The incident was reported just after 6:30 p.m. in a neighborhood near Alta Drive and Upland Blvd. According to police, shots were fired, but no injuries were reported.

According to LVMPD, a man in his 50s was driving for Uber with two passengers when there was a dispute on the road. When vehicles came to stop, the man reportedly exited his car, banged on the driver’s side window of the car in front of him, and was then shot in the neck. Police said, the man had a firearm in his possession.

The man who was shot and killed on the Las Vegas Strip on Monday has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s office as Michael Wilmot, 50, of Las Vegas. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso.
