Yankees Reportedly Trade for Giants' Camilo Doval, Rays' Jose Caballero at Deadline
Per ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Yankees landed San Francisco Giants reliever Camilo Doval. New York also traded for shortstop Jose Caballero of the Tampa Bay Rays, according to Passan. Jack Curry of YES Network reported the return for Doval:
Yastrzemski, 34, spent six years in the Baltimore Orioles’ farm system before being traded to the Giants in March 2019.
One day after dealing setup man Tyler Rogers to the Mets, the Giants traded away two other notable pieces from their roster.
At the buzzer on deadline day, the Giants agreed to send fan-favorite Mike Yastrzemski to the Royals for Yunior Marte.
