The classical Green's function associated to a simply connected domain in the complex plane is easily expressed in terms of a Riemann mapping function.

This month Tom Rother, scientist at IMF, published the book “Green’s Functions in Classical Physics” in the book series Lecture Notes in Physics released by Springer.
