Models camped out in the middle of the runway had to take breathers, sitting and being passed water from members of the audience, to help stay upright in the 80-degree weather.

"The models will turn up three hours before the show. We'll send them down the runway every 11 or 12 seconds, and it takes 24 seconds to get to the end of it with a basic walk.
