Saturday Night Live's cold open featured Vice President Mike Pence getting his coronavirus vaccine.

Manuel Miranda made a surprise return as Alexander Hamilton during a cameo on Saturday Night Live. The NBC sketch comedy show's cold open on Jan. 25 featured Miranda reprising his iconic Hamilton role in a hilarious spoof of the U.

Emil Wakim is leaving "Saturday Night Live" after one season, he revealed in an Aug. 27 Instagram post. The comedian made clear in an emotional and slightly irreverent announcement that it was not his decision.

There are certain guarantees in life. Death, the rising sun and Ben Stiller returning to play Michael Cohen in this week’s cold open of “Saturday Night Live” are among them.

The cold open also visited Trump at a rally, played by Johnson. He referenced the recent assassination attempts on the GOP nominee and Trump’s remarks about Harris’s race.

"I brought a lot of pop culture into the show," he said. "I made it sort of a tabloid-y, trendy thing, unintentionally."
