Video showed the upper stage of the most powerful rocket ever built spinning out of control in space, a repeat of an unsuccessful test flight in January that led to debris falling over the Caribbean.

Starship had been expected to launch again Monday. A previous launch ended in an explosion over the Caribbean, and sent commercial airlines scattering to avoid falling rocket debris.

The company has made changes to the vehicle, part of which blew up over the Caribbean in January during the seventh test flight. An issue during the countdown halted Monday’s launch.

Americans are still in the dark about the scope and scale of what Elon Musk is doing with DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency, which is working to drastically shrink the size of government by aiming to cut $1 trillion or more in government spending.

SpaceX delayed the Starship rocket test flight due to an unspecified issue. The launch, aimed at furthering Mars colonization, was to occur from Texas. A reschedule is expected within 24 hours. The rocket requires improvements for reliability and safety before future crewed missions.
