This map's narrative follows the events of the Citadelle des Morts main quest, with the characters headed to an excavation site in search of the Sentinel Artifact. As Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 readies for the release of Season 2 on 28th January, developer Treyarch has shared initial details of Zombies mode's next map, The Tomb - which plunges players deep beneath the earth, down into ancient catacombs.

After gauging player feedback, Treyarch reversed its decision on the controversial Zombies Directed Mode change in the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 update. The new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 also made changes to the Citadelle des Morts map and a certain Ammo Mod to improve the overall player experience.

Black Ops 6 has revealed content coming to Zombies for 115 Day, including details on a new map and ability to pause in multiplayer.
