An 18-year-old, Darius DeWayne Hall, faces charges of capital murder after a fatal shooting in Houston led to a dramatic police chase and standoff, police say.

A day after a woman was shot and killed in the Heights, followed by an hours-long standoff with officers, an 18-year-old is charged with capital murder, according to Houston police.

When officers arrived, they found a woman, now identified as Marietta Allison, lying on a sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound.
