Carolina Hurricanes fans found a way to honor Andrei Svechnikov’s playoff hat trick in Game 4 on the road — by throwing hats onto his front lawn in Raleigh.

Andrei Svechnikov recorded a hat trick in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals on Sunday for the Carolina Hurricanes, who overcame the second-period loss of goalie Frederik Andersen to beat the New Jersey Devils 5-2 in Newark,

New Jersey was without defensemen Luke Hughes and Brenden Dillon for the third straight game, and couldn't build on its two-overtime win in Game 3.
