Auburn finished with two turnovers to Alabama’s four after the two entered on different ends of the turnover-margin scale. The Crimson Tide was No. 8 nationally with a -11 margin compared to Auburn who was 128th with a negative-11 margin.

This would be a memorable result for the Crimson Tide as well, as Alabama won the first Iron Bowl of the Kalen DeBoer era, while also keeping their College Football Playoff hopes alive, as well as denying Auburn a bowl game in the process with their 28-14 win.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe gained 360 of Alabama’s 457 yards in the Tide’s win over Auburn on Saturday, eliminating them from bowl eligibility.
