At least 16 people have died across the Los Angeles area in the wildfires. Officials have said the true death toll is not known as the fires continue to burn.

More Northern California fire crews have been sent to SoCal to help with the devastation caused by the Palisades Fire and several others burning through the Los Angeles area. On Tuesday, hurricane-force winds at nearly 100 miles per hour fueled several wildfires that devoured residential and commercial areas in Southern California.

Fires ripping through the Los Angeles area have killed at least 24 people, displaced thousands of others and destroyed more than 12,000 structures while burning through an area larger than the city of San Francisco.

As wildfires continue to devastate Los Angeles, leaving thousands displaced and causing widespread destruction, experts urge long-term support and careful giving.

California’s fire agency reported that five wildfires have burned more than 37,000 acres, destroyed 10,000 buildings, and caused at least 11 deaths.
