CHICAGO - A mass shooting wounded eight people, killing three, Monday afternoon on Chicago's Southwest Side. The shooting occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at a home in the 3500 block of West 59th Street, which is located in the Gage Park neighborhood.

Eight people were shot, three fatally, Monday afternoon during a "social gathering" at a residence in Chicago's Gage Park neighborhood, a police official said. At least three people were hospitalized in critical condition, with an additional victim stabilized at a medical facility, Chicago Fire Department officials told NBC Chicago.
