Former Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny asserts that the Third World War has begun, citing the involvement of Russia, the US, and global players like North Korea and Iran in the Ukraine conflict.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock warned China against supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine with military equipment at a meeting of EU foreign ministers on Monday. Baerbock said supporters of Russia must understand that the Ukraine war concerns Europe's "core security interests" and for this reason backing Russia "must and will have consequences" for China.

The Financial Times has reported that Russia has been recruiting Houthi rebels from Yemen to fight Ukraine. Young men from Yemen, who travelled to Russia, told the Financial Times that they were promised high-salaried employment and Russian citizenship.
