The latest MacBook Pro models equipped with the new M4 and M4 Pro chips have just hit the market, and they are available at huge discounts this Black Friday. Amazon is offering great deals on several configurations of the new MacBook Pro M4 models.

Apple Black Friday deals are heating up on the brand-new M4 14-inch MacBook Pro, with the upgraded 1TB model with 24GB RAM dropping to $1,799.

Such is the classic simplicity of Apple design, if you’d been abducted by aliens two decades ago and taken to the peaceful planet Zog to hang out with and learn from an enlightened species, you’d still recognize this as a Mac mini when you returned. (Though you’d probably be disappointed at the state of enlightenment here on Terra Ferma.)

Save $250: The older M2 generation of the 13.6-inch MacBook Air has dropped back to its lowest price ever. It's been superseded by this year's model above, but it's still zippy enough for everyday tasks, plus light creative work. This is as cheap as any MacBook tends to get.

The M4 Pro Mac mini is possibly the best deal in computing in late 2024, boasting an impressive amount of power for pros that rivals the Mac Studio and Mac Pro in a tiny package.

The M4 represents as much of a philosophical shift as it does a performance upgrade. It is Apple acknowledging that if you’re buying a laptop with “Pro” in the name, than it should be a better machine.
