Met Éireann have issued further weather warnings as Storm Bert continues to batter the country. A Status Red rain warning for Galway and Cork ceased on Saturday morning, however, all of the Republic of Ireland remains under a yellow warning. The forecaster has now issued further warnings from Sunday.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow fog warning for 17 counties that is due to come into effect in the coming hours. The fresh warning comes just days after Storm Bert swept across the country leaving those in the south and west of the country dealing with heavy snow and rain,

The forecaster has issued a status yellow fog warning for 17 counties - all in the northern half of the country - as the latest storm of the season - Storm Conall - makes its way to the UK and parts of mainland Europe.
