Backing down from its boycott threat, the Pakistan Cricket Board has told the ICC that it is willing to accept the 'Hybrid' model for hosting next year's Champions Trophy provided the world body allows the same arrangement for events to be held in India till 2031.

Naqvi spoke to the Pakistani media on the sidelines of the India-Pakistan clash on Saturday, November 30, during the U-19 Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

While Pakistan had earlier threatened of a boycott should their hosting rights be taken away on a whole, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday said that cricket should be the ultimate winner.

Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the PCB, stated that Pakistan cannot participate in matches in India if the BCCI refuses to send its team for Champions Trophy 2025.

The Mohsin Naqvi-led board came up with a final response to cricket's top governing body about their offer yesterday.
