There is no question that the best closer on the market this offseason is Edwin Diaz, who posted a dazzling 1.63 ERA with 28 saves for the New York Mets in 2025.

The question now is whether the Red Sox will move an outfielder, which seems less like an "if" and more like a "when."

The Boston Red Sox appear to be moving into win-now move after shedding the largest contract on their books.
