Evacuation warnings were issued for the area North of Poway Rd, West of Pomerado Rd., South of Ted Williams Pkwy, and East of Gailan Rd but were lifted as of 4:30 p.m.

Brief evacuation warnings were issued shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday because of a brush fire near the intersection of Ted Williams Parkway and Pomerado Road in Poway.

The fire was reported at Ted Williams Parkway at Pomerado Road, according to a sheriff’s watch commander. People were evacuating in the area of Wilsey Way and Glen Oak Way, the city posted on X.
