Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena in a Street Fight in the main event of Night 2 of SummerSlam on Sunday to regain the Undisputed WWE Championship and avenge his loss at WrestleMania 41.

Cody Rhodes reclaimed the undisputed WWE championship, Brock Lesnar squashed John Cena and Seth Rollins claimed another world championship at the expense of longtime rival CM Punk. While WrestleMania is often a spiritual season finale, SummerSlam presented a clearer direction for the coming months.

John Cena is more than pumped after hearing the news Wednesday about ESPN becoming the exclusive home of all WWE Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, starting in 2026.
