MLB Announces Ronald Acuna Jr. News Before Braves-Mets originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Atlanta Braves and New York Mets are set to begin a three-game divisional series on Tuesday at Truist Park, but star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. was in the news for something else on Monday.

MLB confirmed on Monday that All-Star players will wear their individual team jerseys during the game rather than different uniforms for the American League and for National League teams. It’s a tradition that fans have wanted back since MLB switched up the jerseys back in 2019.

The Atlanta Braves have one current player receiving votes and two former stars among the current top vote-getters to start the All-Star Game at Truist Park

The Braves announced multiple roster moves on Monday after failing to trade for Rafael Devers, who the Giants acquired from the Red Sox.
