Near the coast, fire crews have 14% containment of the Palisades fire, a slight increase from Sunday, while the fire grew minimally overnight to 23,713 acres, according to a Cal Fire update. Firefighters were preparing to enter their 7th day battling the blazes, which both broke out Tuesday, Jan. 7.
