The Senate has confirmed former Fox News TV host and Donald Trump supporter Jeanine Pirro as the top U.S. federal prosecutor.

The Senate on Saturday approved the nomination of Jeanine Pirro​, confirming the cable news personality to a top prosecutor post in Washington, D.C.

The former Fox News host previously served as a judge and prosecutor in Westchester County, New York, and has been interim U.S. attorney since May.
