After sitting around Charles Schwab Field for three hours watching it rain Monday night, LSU and UCLA officially found out they would be getting up early Tuesday morning to get ready for a 10 a.m. first pitch to finish up the final six innings of their winners' bracket showdown.
Arkansas’ Gage Wood pitched the third no-hitter in College World Series (CWS) history and the first in 65 years on Monday, striking out a record 19 and never letting Murray State come close to getting a hit in the Razorbacks’ 3-0 victory.
Arkansas and LSU are scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m. here at Charles Schwab Field in downtown Omaha. This is the showcase game of the weekend between the two highest-seeded teams remaining in the tournament and a matchup of All-SEC pitchers Zach Root of Arkansas and Kade Anderson of LSU.
